Day 3 of the Yonex Brunei Open Ike-Shio Cup saw most of the national singles shuttler packing.

The only survivor who made it into the third round in the singles department Mohd Ihsan Zanudin lost Mirian boy Ting Sing Kiat in two straight games.

However, things are flying high in the doubles department. Jasper Yu-Ak halim, Fairie Syah-Liaw Choon Sian, mixed pair of Mohd Ihsan-Farina Afida and junior pairs Fairie Syah-Daniel Alus have all cleared their hurdles and are through to the next rounds. All pairs will be in action tonight, 27th January 2010 at the indoor stadium.

It wasn't an easy game for HRH Princess Fadzillah Lubabul Bolkiah who partnered with Fadli in mixed doubles in the Yonex Brunei Open. The mixed pair was forced into a rubber set die against Hafizul and Erny. In the end, HRH & Fadli won the final set 21-19 in a thriller game. Their next match will be today at the Indoor Stadium.
