THE Land Department yesterday held the Land's Department 100 Years Modern Land Administration Badminton Open 2010 Championship at the Multipurpose Hall of the Youth and Sports Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Open to all Land's Department staff, some 15 teams participated in the competition.
The guest of honour, Pg Abd Wahab Pg Hassan, the Land Commissioner, was present to hand over prizes to the winning teams.
Last Minute, represented by Fadli Hj Sukarjo and Lamin Layang, won the Men's Doubles category.
Second place fell to Penaksiran Blog.Spot, made up of Hj Harun Budin and Eddy Nor Ezwan Hj Mohammad.
The pair of Hj Saharuddin Hj Sabtu and Hj Tusin Momin finished third while Erwan Shawal and Hj Darussani Abd Manap placed fourth.
In the Open Doubles category, Mat Yassin Hj Abdullah and Suriati Hj Musa were the champions.
Runners-up went to the Warriors pair of Hj Junaidi Hj Pudin and Fadli Hj Sukarjo.
Third were Hjh Fauziah Hj Md Said and Hj Saharuddin Hj Sabtu while Sahabas claimed fourth.The Brunei Times
